Who We Are
The BANJUAREOSOWO HELPING FOUNDATION is a strictly not-for-profit and non-political organization. We are firmly and solemnly resolved to provide structured, long-term support for our communities, guided by our core constitution and a dedication to humanitarian service and transparency.
Our Governance
To ensure effective administration and strict adherence to our goals, our foundation operates under a well-defined leadership structure.
Board of Trustees
Our foundation is governed by a dedicated Board of Trustees, comprising of 15 elected members. Trustees serve 5-year terms to maintain steady, experienced leadership and oversee the management and operational issues of the association.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Serving as our supreme decision-making body, the AGM is held every March. This assembly allows us to present financial reports, review committee outputs, and align on the upcoming year's objectives.
Transparency & Accountability
We believe in complete financial accountability to our donors, partners, and the communities we serve. Our initiatives are funded through a combination of donations, grants, member levies, and philanthropic gifts from within and outside Nigeria
To guarantee trust and integrity, our financial statements, including balance sheets and income/expenditure accounts are reviewed annually by independent, licensed auditors and filed appropriately with the Corporate Affairs Commission. Furthermore, a dedicated Treasurer manages our commercial bank accounts to ensure funds are disbursed securely.
